This is the newsletter titled
“What's New”, has been developed to provide quarterly updates on the status of implementation of the Regional Strategy for the Development of Statistics (RSDS).
The Regional Strategy for the Development of Statistics (RSDS) was endorsed by the Caribbean Community (CARICOM) Heads of Government at the Thirty-Ninth Regular Meeting of the Conference of Heads of Government held in Jamaica in July 2018.
The RSDS is being developed to strengthen and improve the availability of quality statistics for evidence-based decision-making across the Region. It is considered to be the Region’s gateway to building resilience and achieving sustainable development that is anchored on sound data.
Our target audience therefore comprises the Staff of the Secretariat,
the National Statistical Offices in Member countries, researchers, other users and international and regional
agencies with whom we perform collaborative work.
