Trade in Services

Trade in services involves the sale and delivery of intangible products known as services between producers and consumers.  These datasets records the value of services exchanged between residents and non-residents within an economy including those provided by foreign affiliates established overseas.  Services encompass transport (freight and passengers), travel, communications (postal, telephone, satellite and more), construction, insurance and financial services, computer and information services, royalties and licence fees, other business services like merchandising, operational leasing, technical and professional services and cultural and recreational services.  Government services not listed above are also included.
